We are FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 5943 from Bloomington, Minnesota. We have been competing in FTC for three years and we absolutely love the competitions.
Currently, we attend four different schools, Kennedy High School, Jefferson High School, Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities campus. Many of us participate in the Post Secondary Education Option (PSEO) which allows for high schoolers to attend college instead of High School classes.
We call ourselves the Erector Sets Gone Mad because of the similarity we find between the Tetrix/Matrix kits and the erector sets of times past. The mad part comes from the expanded capabilities of the Tetrix/Matrix kits, we can essentially do anything we want with these advanced "erector sets".
